Following my dad’s cancer diagnosis, I studied nursing at Queens University Belfast, Northern Ireland to pursue a career in palliative care. I gained a lot of nursing experience through working in different hospitals – ward-based, in the Emergency Department, and finally working in the Northern Ireland Hospice where I completed my formal palliative care training in the European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care. I am very passionate about palliative care and love the holistic approach it entails.
I moved to the Cayman Islands following a visit in 2023 and fell in love with the beauty of the island and its residents. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my dog and taking her on adventures, reading on the beach, or going to yoga.
