Vanessa graduated from Barry University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau, which is an international honor society of nursing. After graduation, Vanessa returned home to fulfill her childhood dream working as a registered nurse to gain and expand her nursing experience and taking care of the people in the community. She spent eight years working at CIHSA, five years working on the Medical Unit and three years working in the Dialysis Unit. Vanessa enthusiastically joined the Jasmine team in June 2021 to further expand her nursing knowledge and experience.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her perfect day includes a movie marathon and pizza!
