Donette Hamilton-Walker is a caregiver at Jasmine and is a Jamaican-born native.
Caring for others has always been Donette’s passion, and she used this fire to shape the course of her career. In 2004, she received her certification from the Practical Nursing Course (NCTVET) at the Hospicare Nursing Academy in Montego Bay and found purpose in the way she helped others.
Donette gained experience working as a nursing assistant at the Chrissie Tomlinson Hospital for almost 5 years and later worked as an in-home caregiver for several patients. She officially joined the Jasmine team in 2021 with an invaluable work ethic and a compassionate spirit, believing that “good satisfaction comes from helping people.”
When not caring for her patients, Donette enjoys dancing and meeting new people.
