Joanna Humphries

Joanna Humphries worked extensively in fundraising for the UK charity sector for over 14 years.  She spent 7 years at the Mental Health Foundation where she managed corporate and trust fundraising and secured over GBP 600,000 from the newly formed Community Fund (now known as the National Lottery Community Fund) in two major grants.

Before leaving the UK, Joanna worked for the Terrence Higgins Trust, Europe’s leading and largest HIV and AIDS charity.  After two years as Head of Fundraising, Joanna was promoted to Director of Fundraising and Communications and brought in over GBP4,000,000 each year from individuals, companies and trusts whilst also managing PR and marketing.

Since moving to the Cayman Islands over 15 years ago, Joanna has volunteered for a number of local charities, including the Central Caribbean Marine Institute, where she chaired their largest annual fundraising event for a number of years.

Joanna supported Jasmine in a non-official capacity for several years before joining the Jasmine Board in 2019 and was elected Deputy Chairperson in 2021.

Joanna is passionate about human rights, equality and helping the most vulnerable in society.
